Woman arrested after infant tests for meth, Carson City Sheriff says – Nevada Appeal

 The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
• At 2:11 p.m., a 30-year-old woman was arrested at a Lompa Lane apartment on a charge of child endangerment after her father reported she had pushed and shoved him during an argument. The arrest report says there was marijuana both burned and unburned on the coffee table and an empty pot baggie from a dispensary on the table’s shelf. The report says there were children’s toys and a child’s paintings mixed with the paraphernalia (a pipe) and the pot along with trash in the room.
There was no evidence to support the father’s claim he was assaulted so no charges were filed. The woman was arrested on child neglect/endangerment, a gross misdemeanor. Bail was set at $2,500.
• At 11:30 a.m., Anthony Sparks, 25, was transported to Carson City from Elko on a warrant charging harassment. His bail was set at $25,000.
• At 5:45 p.m., Tyler Samemeterio, 23, of Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear, possession drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. His bail was set at $4,137.
• At 10:42 a.m., Beverly Tucker, 55, a transient was arrested on suspicion of a possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance outside a downtown Carson City casino.
FRIDAY, June 25
• At 10:38 p.m., Amber Jordan, 41, was charged with child abuse after deputies were called to an apartment on Stewart Street by the child’s babysitter. The 18-month-old was taken to Carson Tahoe for treatment of numerous bruises and other injuries to the face and body. The infant also tested positive for meth
