State Pot Regulators Join Forces To Share Best Practices – Law360

Law360 (November 12, 2020, 6:21 PM EST) — Cannabis regulators in 19 states on Thursday announced the formation of a new group to facilitate conversations about how to devise and enact policies for states and local jurisdictions with legal marijuana markets.

The Cannabis Regulators Association, or CANNRA, appears to be the first formal interstate organization of cannabis overseers, although the group said that regulators have frequently relied on other states’ past experiences and expertise as they build out their own programs.
