Public urination STILL a crime, Carson City Sheriff's Office says – Nevada Appeal

 The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
• At 12:03 p.m., a 26-year-old was charged with two counts of domestic battery after deputies responded to an apartment on Saliman. He is accused of battery on his mother and sister after they went to help him move out of his apartment. Bail was set at $6,000.
• At 9:20 p.m., a 42-year-old was arrested after deputies were called to an address on Sutro Terrace. He was jailed on a charge of probation violation for drinking alcohol. Bail was set at $3,000.
• At 9:44 p.m., a 38-year-old Mound House construction worker was charged with DUI 1st alcohol after deputies responded to a hit and run crash on Rand Avenue. He was also charged with hit and run. Bail was set at $1,500.
• At 1:32 a.m., a Silver Springs man was charged with DUI 1st alcohol after a traffic stop on William Street for failure to maintain a travel lane. He left the Gold Dust West parking lot after being trespassed from the casino. He was also charged with the traffic violation. Bail was set at $1,040.
• At 5:17 p.m., David Salazar, 49, was arrested on a charge of violating an extended restraining order to stay away from his ex-girlfriend. His vehicle was spotted outside the church they used to attend. He was found at Bully’s sports bar. Bail was set at $10,000.
• At 6:05 p.m., a 25-year-old was arrested outside a marijuana dispensary on Clearview on a charge of indecent exposure. Witnesses reported he urinated on a bush near the business. Bail was set at $2,500.
