Planning Board clears the air on marijuana project delays – thegraftonnews.com

GRAFTON – After four years of broken promises for Nature’s Remedy to break ground on a marijuana facility in town, the Planning Board will make Nature’s Remedy wait until Thursday before allowing the company to clear its last local hurdle for the “merger’’ of Nature’s Remedy of Massachusetts Inc. with Jushi MA Inc.

At the Planning Board’s Aug. 23 meeting, attorney Joshua Lee Smith, representing Nature’s Remedy, asked the board to approve the change of name on the special permit and site plan approval to Jushi MA Inc. from Nature’s Remedy for a marijuana manufacturing and cultivating facility.

After a long discussion with board members airing their complaints about Nature’s Remedy’s four years of delays, the members gave tacit approval of the name change on the special permit and site plan approval.
