A planned nationwide chain of shops selling CBD-infused personal care products will launch next month with a location in Indianapolis, a cannabis firm announced Monday.

Green Growth Brands of Columbus, Ohio, says it has struck a deal with Simon Property Group to launch its chain of CBD, or cannabidiol, shops in U.S. malls owned and operated by the Indianapolis-based company.

The first shop will open at Castleton Square Mall, Green Growth said in a news release, with the company’s remaining shops opening over the course of this year. The arrangement will give Green Growth, which has a product agreement with another retailer, access to new markets and customers in as many as 108 locations across the U.S.

CBD is a compound found in cannabis sativa and is extracted from the hemp variety, with has little or no TCH, which causes marijuana’s “high.”

Green Growth sells CBD-infused personal care products under the name Seventh Sense Botanical Therapy and other brands. 

The cannabis retailer could not be reached for further comment. However, John Rulli, Simon president and chief administrative officer, lauded the deal in a separate statement.
