Halo Collective Inc (OTCMKTS: HCANF), in its latest statement, announced changes to its board of directors. According to reports, with immediate effect, the changes will be implemented. 

According to reports, seven members could be a part of The Akanda Board

According to reports, as many as seven members could be a part of The Akanda Board. Louisa Mojela, Executive Chairman of Akanda, and Tej Virk, CEO, and Director of Akanda Halo Collective Inc. Ryan Kunkel, who currently serves as a director of Halo, is appointed as Chairman of the Halo Board, succeeding Louisa Mojela. According to sources, Louisa Mojela has called it quits from the Halo Board to focus on her new role as Executive Chairman of Akanda. Meanwhile, Katie Field, currently President of Halo, is appointed to the Halo Board. In other developments, it has come to light that Charles Kie has given up his post at the Halo Board to join the Akanda board of directors as a lead independent director. Doing multiple hats is Philip Van den Berg who will continue to serve as CFO and Director of Halo besides serving as a director on the Akanda Board.

The Halo Board, chaired by Ryan Kunkel, will have seven members, including Kiran Sidhu, Katie Field, Philip van den Berg as non-independent directors, and Peter McRae, Andrew Turman, Anmol Sidhu, and Ryan Kunkel as independent directors, according to company sources.

Commenting on the latest change in management portfolios, Kiran Sidhu, who serves as Halo Collective Inc CEO, is overwhelmed to have the board chaired by Kunkel. The CEO is upbeat that the company can become one of the leaders in multi-state operator (MSO) in the western U.S.
