Nevada Highway Patrol Troopers say they arrested two people on several felony charges after they found 55 pounds of marijuana inside their car.

NHP says they stopped driver Justyce Carrington and passenger Matthew Acosta-Frantz on I-80 near Mogul late Tuesday morning for speeding through a construction zone.

The 22-year olds face multiple charges including marijuana trafficking, possession of drugs and failing to maintain safe lane changes.

They’re both being held on no bail inside the Washoe County Jail.
