LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – The Cannabis and Vaping Public Health Summit began today at 9 a.m. and ends Thursday, January 14. The goal of the summit is to use a public health approach that will result in a Nevada.
The Nevada Department of Health and Human Services and the Division of Public and Behavioral Health, along with the Nevada Attorney General’s Office, are hosting this free three-day virtual event to identify Nevada’s priorities and strategies related to:
Legal use for adults Public safety Regulation Prevention Treatment Monitoring cannabis and vaping products
Sixty-two presenters will attend the Summit. Participants include nationally recognized experts in the field from organizations such as the Centers for Disease Control, universities and research institutions, and public health organizations from other states.
