DICKSON, Okla. (KTEN) — There’s been another big illegal marijuana grow farm bust in southern Oklahoma, this time near Dickson.

The Carter County Sheriff said law enforcement personnel from the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, Dickson police and Lighthorse police confiscated about 1,200 plants from a property along Durwood Road about 10 miles east of Ardmore.

The cannabis was destroyed using an incinerator.

Five people went to jail, all said to be from the Las Vegas, Nevada, area. They were identified as:

Pao Senghammee, 51 Homchanh Sithong, 40 Johnny Sithong, 37 Patsamone Somkongmany, 46 Chanday Vannavong, 61

This is the second illegal marijuana grow operation raid in Carter County since June.
